SHOOTER TRAINING SYSTEMS

SCATT systems will help experienced shooters to better their skills, and beginners the chance to shorten the time needed to learn shooting skills by a factor or two or three. Practicing in an average-size room you can use any type of weapon and simulate shooting at distances up to 1000 meters.

A general description of the training system

All systems operate on the following principles: An electronic optical sensor is fixed to the barrel of the weapon, or the compressed air cylinder of an air weapon. The shooter then aims at the electronic target. A trace of the point of aim can then be followed on a ‘real-time’ display screen. On activating the weapon trigger, the point of impact is then displayed on the screen. All results of the training session can be recorded for further analysis.

UAG was founded in 2007 as a logistics provider for a small number of international customers who required assistance with their shipping needs. With service quality as a primary concern, the company worked with local transportation agents to ensure their customer’s items were handled properly and expedited throughout the process. In 2011, the company began providing warehouse and distribution services for their growing customer base, that had grown to include some international MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) facilities looking to enter the US market. Growth of the company provided further opportunity for expansion in 2013 when UAG acquired an office and warehouse space in Norwalk, CT. The expanded warehouse capability provided an avenue for UAG’s customers to now store larger amounts of surplus inventory in the Connecticut facility. UAG proactively markets the sale of both this consignment inventory and its own inventory for its client base. In June of 2014 the company hit a major milestone when it recorded its 1000th customer. Most recently, UAG purchased it’s own 6500 square foot building in Stratford, CT where the company currently resides.
